I love this quote. 

For one, it’s simply true for those of us with Type 1 Diabetes – raising a low blood sugar is an emergency and a juice box is a common option for treatment.  

Even more so, however, this quote reminds me that there are so many different challenges people face and just as many ways to nurture ourselves through those challenges.  Though we may not know the specifics of another’s journey or why they are making the choices they make, we can still make room for people to take care of themselves in the ways they know are right for them.  Even if their medicine is juice box.
